I am seeking a dedicated Accounts Administrator to join a Finance team for a 12-month maternity cover position. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the company’s financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Input purchase invoices into accounting software
  • Generate supplier reports and suggested payments on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Import information into banking function and accounting software
  • Collate and enter data associated with company credit cards
  • Assist with reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, and petty cash
  • Support sales ledger invoice requirements as needed
  • Review nominal ledger activities to identify accrual and prepayment requirements
  • Manage accounting email correspondence and correspond with customers and suppliers
  • Distribute invoices for authorization to relevant department heads
  • Perform payroll data entry, collation, processing, and review tasks
  • Assist with regulatory preparation and submission of VAT to HMRC
  • General filing, administration, and month-end task completion processes
  • Conduct end-to-end payroll processing with meticulous attention to detail
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using internal payroll systems

Skills Required:

  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
  • Reliable with the ability to perform well under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
