TalentTide has been assigned to assist this successful import/export company in their search for a new Assistant Accountant.

Reporting into the Accounts Manager, this role will be offered on a full time and permanent basis. The main purpose of the role will be to assist in all areas of accounts in order to ensure the smooth running of the department as a whole. Duties will include purchase Ledger, sales ledger, expenses processing, multi-currency reconciliations and other ad hoc accounting duties. You should have an excellent eye for detail and good systems skills including a working knowledge of an accounting system, ideally Sage.

My client has a preference for someone to be AAT intermediate level however if you are qualified by your experience to perform competently within a technical role then your CV will be given equal consideration. If you are still studying to complete your AAT, then a study package can be discussed.
