Role Overview:

As a Contracts Manager/Works Coordinator/ supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring our clients’ projects are managed effectively, complying with regulatory standards, and delivering high-quality outcomes. You will be responsible for overseeing contract compliance, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring safety and efficiency in all project activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with current regulations, including the Environmental Permitting Regulations and other relevant legislation.
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of various works, including day-to-day repairs, cyclical maintenance, and planned improvement programs.
  • Contract Oversight: Manage and review contracts, ensuring adherence to specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
  • Health and Safety: Implement and monitor safety protocols, conduct site audits, and ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Maintain effective communication with contractors, clients, and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Performance Management: Monitor project performance, manage budgets, and ensure value for money in all activities.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven track record in contract management and delivery of compliance-related services, preferably in a property or environmental compliance area.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of current compliance regulations, health and safety requirements, and contract management principles.
  • Skills: Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills. Proficiency in using ICT systems and document management tools.
  • Qualifications: Relevant professional qualifications in compliance or contract management. IOSH Managing Safely or willingness to achieve this certification.
  • Flexibility: Ability to travel as required and adapt to changing project demands.
