TalentTide have been assigned by this long-established St Austell based business in their search for a new Credit Controller to join their finance team. My client is rapidly expanding, and they have become one of the UK’s leading suppliers in their field. They serve mainly the construction & building services industries throughout the UK and Europe.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role will be offered on a full time and permanent basis and some flexibility can be offered around start and finish times to suit the needs of the successful candidate and the business alike.
The main purpose of the role will be to ensure that creditor days are kept to a minimum whilst maintaining cashflow. In addition to this, the successful candidate will be working closely with colleagues in accounts receivable to ensure that sales invoices are entered correctly, and clients are invoiced on time.
Candidates should have relevant recent experience gained within a Credit Control role, with demonstrable organisation skills and excellent numeracy skills. The role will work with all members of the finance function and liaises regularly with customers so effective, honest communication skills are essential.
