Mechanical Fitter and Assembly Engineer

An award winning supplier of offshore equipment, is seeking a highly motivated individual to join their expanding  team as an equipment builder and assembler. In this role, you will be responsible for building and assembling a range of equipment, including winches, piston corers, vibrocorers, launch and recovery systems and other project-related machinery. You will work with hydraulic, mechanical and electrical installations to create high-quality products.

As a successful candidate, you will have a relevant qualification in mechanical, hydraulic or electrical fitting and assembly, as well as a minimum of three years of industry-relevant experience. You will also have previous supervisory experience, a full driving license, and a valid passport.

You will need to be self-motivated and capable of managing your time and resources effectively to meet product and project deadlines. Tasks will include mechanical fitting, new build assembly and test, maintenance and commissioning of hydraulic systems, on-site troubleshooting and repairs, pre-delivery inspections, post-receipt inspections, and repairs.
