Mechanical Maintenance/Project Engineer

Are you a skilled Mechanical maintenance Engineer with experience in the FMCG/Manufacturing industry?

I am looking for someone who can ensure that all engineering and electrical work is carried out according to current regulations and safety standards.

In addition, you will be responsible for liaising with production to reduce downtime and providing both preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
– Ensure all engineering and electrical work is carried out to current regulations and safety standards.
– Liaise with production to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
– Provide both preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance.
– Work with the company’s CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
– Maintain mechanical maintenance PM’s and schedule.
– Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to ensure activities comply with relevant standards and legislation.
– Support capital projects and installation work.

Essential Requirements:
– Previous experience within a mechanical engineering role (mandatory).
– Experience in the FMCG/Manufacturing industry (desirable).
– Formal engineering qualifications required, minimum City & Guilds or equivalent.
– Continuous improvement mindset is a must.
– GCSE grade C in Math’s & English.
– Team-based approach.
– Effective communicator.
