Join a friendly team as a Purchasing and Operations Assistant and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth processing of orders for goods, materials, and services. Your responsibilities will include managing orders, overseeing pricing, quality assurance, and coordinating timely deliveries to meet the company’s operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process orders efficiently to meet operational requirements, accounting for pricing, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Monitor and ensure on-time delivery of incoming goods, maintaining necessary documentation in accordance with company protocols.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and freight carriers to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
  • Work closely with shipping, warehouse, and sales teams to ensure timely dispatch of goods, meeting customer and business expectations.
  • Support the internal sales team by handling Resales inquiries.
  • Assist the Planner Purchaser in stock management activities, including inventory control and record-keeping.
  • Collaborate with the Planner Purchaser to provide operational summaries to key stakeholders regarding stock management and price trends.
  • Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment, adhering to EHS policies.
  • Actively contribute as a flexible team member in the Operations Team, providing necessary support to your line manager and colleagues.
