🌟 Your New Role
As the SACM Process Lead, you will be at the helm of a team responsible for managing, controlling, and governing IT assets and configurations. In this role, you’ll:
🌟 Champion the delivery of an effective Service Asset and Configuration Management framework for the organisation’s IT environment.
🌟 Lead and mentor your team of SACM Analysts, ensuring their growth and success.
🌟 Collaborate with various IT teams, academic departments, and external vendors to provide expert guidance on Software and Hardware Asset Management.
🌟 Drive service improvement initiatives, contributing to incident response, problem resolution, and change management.
🌟 Help the Head of Service Management achieve the prestigious Service Desk Institute 4* Business Led Certification for the Service Desk, leading to ISO20000 certification.
What You Bring to the Table
We’re looking for a visionary who can lead with passion and expertise:
🌟 A background in Service Asset and Configuration Management, accompanied by ITIL certification or equivalent experience.
🌟 Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, your secret sauce for team motivation and success.
🌟 A profound understanding of IT hardware, software, and configuration items, plus a knack for industry best practices and regulations.
🌟 Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills – you don’t just spot opportunities for service improvement; you make them happen.
